Polish and Azerbaijani relations: Past and Presence

On 25^th of June 2012 at the University of Warsaw Piotr Szeląg, Associate Lawyer in Blackgold Law Firm, participated as a speaker in the first Polish-Azerbaijani scientific conference: “Polish and Azerbaijani relations: Past and Presence”. The subject of his lecture was “Legal possibilities of Polish-Azerbaijani trade”.

The conference was organized by the International Institute of Civil Society (www.miso.org.pl) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Poland and Centre for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The reason for organizing the Conference was 540^th anniversary of the establishment and the 20^th anniversary of revival of diplomatic relations between two Countries.

List of speakers included His Excellency the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Poland – Hasan Hasanov, representatives of Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Polish Institute of International Affairs and eminent speakers from both Polish and Azerbaijan sides - scientists, entrepreneurs and politicians.
